    Wayne Caviness is a down-to-earth servant-leader who invests in the lives of people to  lead them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to guide believers in a healthy and growing relationship with Him. 


    He earned a Bachelor of Science/Church Ministry from Campbell University, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. 


    Wayne and his wife, Lisa, have one daughter, Anna.


    Wayne proves his loyalty and sense of hope by remaining a life-long Washington Redskins fan!

  • david vannoy

    Minister  OF MUSIC

    David Vannoy is energized by praising the Lord through any style of music. Having grown up in a very musical family, he has always shared this passion in church. "Nothing gives me more joy and peace than worship for Him." Through music, David draws our focus to Jesus and helps open our hearts and minds to worship and listen to God speak. As well as leading in worship, he facilitates opportunities for music through adult choir, children's choirs, praise teams, and a praise band.


    He earned a Bachelor of Science/Music from Appalachian State University.


    David and his wife Shannon have two daughters, Erin and Rachel, and a son, Caleb.


    David is also our resident restaurant guide. He is a walking encyclopedia of where to eat, what they have...and how they fair on the Vannoy Rating Scale.

  • kelsey poole

    director of children's ministries

    Kelsey Poole, is loving and compassionate, and willing to do anything for the glory of His kingdom. She loves to serve the Lord in any situation He puts her in. Kelsey has a God-given passion for children. "My goal is to not only show children God's love," says Poole, "but to tell the stories to children so they can apply them to their lives and lean on God at an early age."


    She is a graduate of Mars Hill University, and comes to Bethlehem with experience as a staff member with South Mountain Baptist Camp.


    Kelsey is a second generation, die-hard Tarheel fan. GO HEELS!!!
