On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not overcome it. —Matthew 16:18

Today's youth are facing a different world of challenges than the generations before them. Through Bible study and Christian fellowship, ROCK127 Student Ministries helps students find the strength and wisdom needed to face the often harsh realities of today's world with the real hope found through Jesus Christ.

ROCK127 welcomes all students in grades six to twelve!

The purpose of ROCK127 Student Ministries is:

  • to introduce students to Jesus Christ and to build upon that foundation by providing a safe place where youth can be taught and given support in their walk with Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20)
  • to build a unified and open community of student believers who are an example to the community and serve the Lord in worship, ministry, discipleship and missions work. (I Timothy 4:12)
  • to minister to and support the parents of our students. Parental involvement is a welcomed.

"Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit."

1 PETER 2:4-7

"As you come to him, the living Stone - rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him - you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in Scripture it says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame." Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, "The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone."
